OSD show: "2 CD movie with 1 combined subtitle ON/OFF" Function works by storing the total time of the previously played cd and substracting this time from the entire subtitle timing. Function only works after you have played cd 1 (Doesn't need to play it to the end) + New feature: Subtitle time shift. Original code written by New Age for other firmware, added and modded by me. If a text subtitle is loaded, you can add or sub 0.1 sec each click on the left / right arrow. Very usefull for MPEG4 subtitles out of sync. OSD msg then appear: Subtitle time shift +/- x.x sec - it dissapears after some sec. Also resets the Subtitle time shift when a new file is played. They were not correctly converted from frames to time. (Thanks New Age for your help). You need to press each menu item (in mpeg4 subtitle menu) after upgrade to make new values remembered. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v5.1: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 New version Hej456 DSP v4.4: + Major bugfix: Fixed the divide by 4 font width. This means much better looking subs with the characters placed closer to each other. Before there were unwanted spaces between chars or player would mess font up. You need to press each menu item (in mpeg4 subtitle menu) after upgrade to make new values remembered. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v4.4: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 New version Hej456 DSP v5.0b: + The shared memory values used for new menu items and smart loading has been changed once again. I found out that after player had been turned off 10 min, values were overwritten and the org/all subs were disabled. Now I have dumped the shared memory to computer and seen which space were unused. You need to press each menu item (in mpeg4 subtitle menu) after upgrade to make new values remembered. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v5.0b: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v5.0a: + Found out that some of the shared memory adresses I used for menus and smart load subtitle, were used in the new ARM code, so now I changed that. That screwed up the org/all subs - and propably more. + Small bugfixes, avi and DMF files should be loaded a bit faster now. + Fixed subtitle window width, so it is not out of screen as default. - The macrovision bug (two vertial lines while playing some retail dvd's), still remains. But I don't think it has anything to do with macrovision as my patch should have disabled macrovision... :( You might need to press each menu item (in mpeg4 subtitle menu) after upgrade. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v5.0a: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v5.0: Note: Fixed subtitle window width, so it is not out of screen as default new files up. + Changed the entire RISC code again added all our great features. New RISC 05.00.06.04 (Old 05.00.05.07). + New RISC supports full DMF (DivxMediaFormat), no OGG/OGM :( + Added code to the 8032 part to support the DMF menu with selection, title, play - all features working. + Added smart loader for DMF or avi. New RISC has subtitles off by default... I have fixed that. If an avi file is played subs will autoload and play, if a DMF file is played the autoload, and Org then All features are disabled as it screws up the DMF menu's. + Better looking subtitles, as new RISC allow font's to be not dividable by 4.... Chars closer to each other in words. + Added support for DTS CD to the RISC. + Added support for DTS passthrough to the RISC. - The macrovision bug (two vertial lines while playing some retail dvd's), still remains. + Guess some minor playback bug's are fixed as it is a newer RISC. + Better quality backgrounds: startup screen and filebrowser. + A BIG thanks to New Age for helping me through the process. You are the master. Remember to reset player to default after upgrade. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v5.0: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v4.3a: + Changed the chapter back, so it now goes back to start of chapter before going to previous chapter. Please let me know if this is better. Remember to reset player to default after upgrade. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v4.3a: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v4.3: + Bugfixes. The new code part i had made in v 4.2 was not working properly, now it does. Also the EEPROM values I used were used somewhere else, now it work's. + I'm sorry.... Remember to reset player to default after upgrade. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v4.3: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v4.2: + Bugfixes; I found out that when I redesigned the mpeg4 subtitle menu some time ago, I just used New Age's EEPROM values, without thinking about the 8032 function's called by the menu. Now they are made to fit the correct values, and some new code has been added to the word wrap / reformat call. + Completely redesigned background and filebrowser with images made by me. + The test version with the newer and a little smaller DSP 03.97.02.55, has not shown any disadvantages, so it is now used as standard. + Changed the nasty yellow color in filebrowser selection and scrollbar. Remember to reset player to default after upgrade. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v4.2: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v4.1: + Fixed the chapter back bug when playing DVD's. I have also uploaded a test version with the newest compatible DSP 03.97.02.55 code taken from the newest Peekton 6006 HDMI firmware, and of course modified by me for smaller size to fit in our firmware. I am not sure if anything at all will be changed when using this DSP, maybe better playback, lesser artifacts...? Maybe some bugs...? Please report back! It's been hard work adding all our great features to the new code. But they should all be working now. (New) + The new RISC code is almost identical to the one New Age used for his v4, but some bug's are corrected. (New) + Now there should be no more vertical lines when playing commercial macrovision DVD's. (New) + Changed the new code that didn't support DTS passthrough, so it does now. (New) - If the SPDIF manual menu is selected Dolby Digital is always sent as PCM... :( Remember to reset player to default after upgrade. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v4.0: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v3.5: + Subtitle menu completely redesigned, with these new items: Reformat: Off | Off Ref & Wrap | Both Reformat and Word Wrap Reformat | Only Reformat Mpeg4 Subtitles Word Wrap | Only Word Wrap for Mpeg4 Subtitles Load All: Org then All | First Load Matching Sub then Load All Load All | Load All Subs Regardless Filename Original | Only Matching Filenames VobSub Pal.: Rgb | Rgb Yuv | Yuv + New Age's filename match option is now completely removed, I used the EEPROM value for new menu items, and with the options in the load all menu I found it obsolete. Remember to reset player to default after upgrade. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Verify the CD. Hej456 DSP v3.5: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v3.4: + Made the large new font look better, minimized space between certain char's by hand. (New) + Codepage 1253 small font fixed - width wasn't multiple by 4. (New) + Codepage 1250-1253. (New) + Changed the large font, to a new large one I made myself. (New) + Changed the original small font, to a new one I made with less space between letters. (New) + Repacked both startup screen and filebrowser once again to make the filebrowser look better than in v3.3. (New) Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Hej456 DSP v3.4: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Version Hej456 DSP v3.3: + Bugger, the unused block I thought I deleted in version 3.2 screwed up the DTS passthrough. Fixed by readding the block. (New) + Repacked both startup screen and filebrowser from high quality Laza bmp's in a good encoder - I think they actually look the same if not better, with smaller filesize. (New) Version Hej456 DSP v3.2: + Made a little extra change to the DSP deleting an unused block, gave 8 kb extra space. (New) + Added another full font for MPEG4 subtitles; large by Mtz. Now firmware has 3 selectabe fonts: small, medium, large. (New) + Added a new menu item, called MPEG4 subtitle font where you can change between fonts. (you need to goto the bottom of the Mpeg4 subtitle setup page). (New) - Had to decrease the quality of the file browser a bit to get extra space. (New) Version Hej456 DSP v3.1: + Player will now check for subtitle filenames equal to movie filename and if none are loaded it will automatically go to the load all routine, which loads any subtitle in the dir no matter what name it is called. Can be set on/off in the new 'Org then All' menu item. 10 subtitles can be loaded. (New) + Used the VobSub Palette menu item for 'Org then All' item, VobSub palette is now always RGB. (New) + Firmware still have New Age's filename match (0-40) option. + New DSP code, took out the unused DSP code from org. New Age firmware, now DTS coaxial should work for all. (New) + All the New Age v4 features, including Nero Digital, Divx6, subs etc.. + Startup screen old Yamada 6700 full quality. + File Browser old Yamada 6700 full quality. + JPEG feature. + 2 good looking full fonts (255 chars), one big for subtitles and one smaller for menu/browser/OSD. + All icons readded. + No pink screen. + ogm files supported again. I have removed an alternative big DSP part to give space. This part is not used in any of the old Yamada firmwares, and it is not a new part, because many other old firmwares has this part, so my guess is that the Yamada doesn't use it at all. Also I have added the missing DSP-code for ogm files which were missing in my previous version. Now all features should work just perfect, and look good too. Many people were actually turning off the reformat function, why I have now put it back in the menu in v3.1 Save the file to disc unzip and burn. Hej456 DSP v3.1: CP 1250 CP 1251 CP 1252 CP 1253 Old: Modded version of NAv4 org., with both jpeg-feature and a second good looking big font included for subtitles. What I have done: + 2 full (255 chars) fonts included. + The subtitle font is almost like the medium size of my old mod. It looks great I think. + All functions are still working. + JPEG feature. + Changed the small font for menu/browser/OSD to save space. + Changed font colors in setup menu to black, now you can actually see what you change :-) - I deleted some icons to get more space.... kept most, but setup icons are missing, screensaver changed to a little icon.... I think it is affordable. - Pink screen. Save the file to disc unzip and burn. NAv4 Hej456 v1: CP 1250 CP 1252 |
